The vertical hoisting pattern keeps the user at an equidistant length from the column during the hoist, ensuring a safe and stable transfer. Despite its capabilities, the Partner 255 Standard is one of the lightest patient lifters in its category, weighing just 42.5 kg. Its excellent design and wheel geometry make it easy to maneuver. The lifter also features an overload sensor to prevent operation if the safe working load is exceeded, ensuring user safety.

Other safety features include a hinged lifting arm to prevent squeezing the user, an electrical emergency lowering function, and an emergency stop.
