Walk Belts
Walk belts, also known as gait belts, are used to assist individuals with limited mobility in standing and walking. They consist of a strong belt wrapped around the individual’s waist, with handles or straps on either side for the caregiver to hold onto. Walk belts provide a secure grip for caregivers, allowing them to support the individual’s weight and help them stand and walk safely, and reduce the risk of falls and injuries.
