Product Overview
Additionally, it can accommodate users who weigh up to 160 kg and those with complex postural requirements such as fixtures or contractures. It is also appropriate for users with stiffness or fixtures at the hips, as well as those with stroke and neurological conditions. The Advance chair comes with vapor-permeable fabric on the seat base, legrest, backrest, and armrests. Tilt-in-space is also available and can aid midline sitting, reducing the need for additional lateral support for users who tend to slump mildly to one side. The multi-adjustable pillow backrest has removable filling to suit different postural requirements, and there is a backrest recline function with an angle label.
The backrest can also be locked at a specific angle, which should be reviewed during the setup process. All backrest cushions can have filling removed for user comfort and accommodation. An integrated pressure cushion is supplied as standard, and alternative cushions can be easily integrated due to the cushion's aperture size of 430 mm x 430 mm x 76 mm (17.5” x 17.5” x 3”), ensuring the seat and armrests' height remains constant when using a cushion of this size. Please note - Configure Advance is not appropriate for: Users who need a riser function to transfer; Bariatric users.
