The Sango RWD is a rear-wheel drive chair offering plenty of advantages when driving outdoors and across various terrains. This wheelchair steers extremely steadily, even at high speeds. The chair can be fitted with sprung front forks for enhanced comfort.
The SANGO RWD combines excellent traction and comfort for outdoor environments. The suspension system is fitted with rubber components to offer a very quiet drive and a high comfort level. The system absorbs everyday vibrations and larger bumps when out and about, and the large drive wheels positioned at the front work to overcome more considerable obstacles outdoors. The additional pivot bar stabilises the chair on cambers and whilst cornering.
Motor:
4-pole high torque motors deliver excellent maneuverability and smooth drive for an improved driving experience 6 or 10 km/h motor speeds suit most indoor and outdoor use.
12.5 km/h motors are available for users wanting to achieve a higher speed
A Gyro module option enhances straight-line driving at higher speeds
Batteries:
50 or 60 Ah batteries provide a good driving range
Upgrade to 78 Ah batteries to extend the range and use even further
Seat Height:
The seat height is ultra-low at 38 cm when fitted with 12” drive wheels. This low height means positioning under tables and desks can be undertaken. Driving into Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles is also more easily achievable. If also required, the Sango FWD can be fitted with the Dahl docking system, making it possible to drive a wheelchair-accessible vehicle from the powered wheelchair.
