The comfortable Immedia OneWayGlide Positioning Velour Pad is a single-layer velour pad used to maintain a correct posture and prevents the user from sliding forward while sitting. This specially designed cushion features a velour surface that facilitates sliding in one direction to prevent shear and friction, whilst resisting sliding in the opposite direction.
The Immedia OneWayGlide Positioning Velour Pad reduces the risk of shear and friction during manual handling, minimising pull on the skin and avoiding sores forming on the pelvic bones. It is ideal for use when a patient needs constant repositioning and can be used independently or with the assistance of a carer.
