The motor is a 4-pole high torque system that delivers a smooth driving experience, with motor speeds of 6 or 10 km/h suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Users who want to achieve higher speeds can opt for the 12.5 km/h motors. A Gyro module option is available to improve straight-line driving at higher speeds. The wheelchair comes with 50 or 60 Ah batteries, providing a good driving range. Users can upgrade to 78 Ah batteries for extended use. The chair's ultra-low seat height of 38 cm (when fitted with 12" drive wheels) makes it easier to position under tables, desks, and drive into Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles.
The Sango RWD can also be fitted with the Dahl docking system, enabling users to drive a wheelchair-accessible vehicle from the powered wheelchair. The chair can be fitted with sprung front forks for enhanced comfort.
