The rubber suspension system is designed to provide a quiet and comfortable ride by absorbing everyday vibrations and larger bumps when navigating rough terrain. The additional pivot bar stabilizes the chair on cambers and while cornering. Customers can choose between the compact advanced chassis or the ultra-compact slimline chassis to suit their individual requirements and environment. The chair is equipped with 4-pole high torque motors that provide great maneuverability and a smooth driving experience. It is available with motor speeds of 6 or 10 km/h for most indoor and outdoor uses, and for those who require higher speeds, 12.5 km/h motors are available. The chair comes with 50 or 60Ah batteries that provide a good range of driving and allow for the use of many powered adjustment options. An upgrade to 78Ah batteries is also available to extend the range even further.
With an ultra-low seat height from 38cm (with 12" drive wheels), transfers, access under tables and other furniture, as well as driving into Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV's), can be done effortlessly. The SANGO MWD can also be ordered with preparation for use of the DAHL drive system if required, making it an ideal option for driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle from the powered wheelchair.
