The Handi Soft Turn Pad is designed to help you swivel in your seat, without needing to lift your bottom, shift your weight or stand up. Ideal for getting in and out of a car, it can also be used on any type of chair when sitting or standing.
The pad is constructed from two foam discs, joined by a nylon axle that allows the discs to rotate. The clever design of these flexible pads means that the disc bends and conforms to the shape of the seat without any negative impact to the turning mechanism. People with sufficient strength or mobility can simply turn themselves by swinging the legs or using the upper body to manoeurve. For people who need extra assistance, the turn pad features two large webbed handles on either side side of the upper disc. These handles can be used by a carer to turn someone seated on the pad. This product is available in two sizes to suit different chair widths. Better yet, for people who suffer from continence issues, the product can be turned upside down and used this way with equal success. The underside is made from a waterproof material that helps prevent the product in the event of an accident. This product has an unlimited user weight, so can be used by anyone who comfortably fits onto the turning pad.
