Product Overview

An easy to use, digital TENS machine with large liquid crystal display and highly visible, easy press button operation that is great for people who have trouble with smaller dials or displays. TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is a therapy that uses low-voltage electrical current for pain relief, offering natural, non-invasive pain relief without the use of chemicals or drugs (see below for more information).

This powerful machine has 32 stimulation modes for pain relief and muscle training. It also includes an EMS mode, which is beneficial in muscle re-education and prevention and/or retardation of disuse atrophy. There are 5 adjustable TENS modes, 3 adjustable EMS modes and 24 professional presets of TENS and EMS available. This product is not suitable for use with a pacemaker or other personal medical device - please consult your healthcare professional before use. Included in the pack:
  • 1 digital TENS machine unit
  • 1 USB-C charging Cord
  • 2 electrode leads
  • 4 self-adhesive electrodes (pack of 4)
  • 1 instruction manual
  • 1 hard plastic carrying case
  • Replacement electrodes and leads are also readily available.
What is TENS? TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is a therapy that uses low-voltage electrical current for pain relief. TENS is powered by a small, battery-powered machine about the size of a pocket radio.  Connect two electrodes (wires that conduct electrical current) from the machine to your skin. The electrodes are often placed on the area of pain or at a pressure point, creating a circuit of electrical impulses that travels along nerve fibres. When the current is delivered, some people experience less pain. This may be because the electricity from the electrodes stimulates the nerves in an affected area and sends signals to the brain that block or "scramble" normal pain signals. Another theory is that the electrical stimulation of the nerves may help the body to produce natural painkillers called endorphins, which may block the perception of pain. You can set the TENS machine for different wavelength frequencies, such as a steady flow of electrical current or a burst of electrical current, and for intensity of electrical current. Your physical therapist, acupuncturist, or doctor usually determines these settings. After you receive an introduction to and instruction in this therapy, you can do TENS at home.
