A lightweight yet sturdy plastic base that slips underneath a ROHO cushion to provide a solid foundation for a cushion that is used on a wheelchair with a slung seat (upholstered). Only fits ROHO cushions measuring 460 mm by 460 mm. Not suitable for other sizes.
This moulded base helps make sure you are sitting symmetrically when using a upholstered slung seat wheelchair. Without it, the ROHO cushion could slump and lose pressure redistribution capabilities. This base provides a stable platform that stops thigh bones from rotating inwards, to maintain good pelvic posture. The base simply slides inside the cushion cover of the associated ROHO cushion.
Weighting less than 1 kilogram, it adds minimal weight to the overall wheelchair.
